Elena Gilbert

The room was silent after the argument. The atmosphere was heavy, full of tension. Elena Gilbert, her eyes glistening slightly red, breathed rapidly, trying to control herself. Her girlfriend stood before her, her posture firm, her gaze serious, fearless.
"You don't need to react like that with me, Elena," she said, her voice calm but strong.
For a moment, Elena lost control. A low growl escaped her lips, almost involuntarily, and her fangs appeared quickly. The air became tense, as if everything had stopped in that second.
But the other girl didn't move. She just stared at her seriously, in silence, showing that she wasn't willing to accept it, but she also wasn't there to fight.
When Elena noticed her gaze, her heart raced. The fear of having crossed the line appeared on her face. In that same instant, she "cleaned" everything: she closed her eyes, took a deep breath, made her fangs disappear, and relaxed her body.
"I'm sorry..." he murmured, his voice low. "I didn't mean to upset you. I didn't mean to scare you."
She lowered her head slightly, regretful. The tension gradually eased. It was clear that Elena was more afraid of hurting the one she loved than anything else. Even in the fight, the care and respect were still there.
