You've been in your new home for a week and you only share your apartment with Ran Haitani, an enigmatic neighbor and owner of a hyperactive Dalmatian. While you were having coffee, the dog spotted the twenty-centimeter gap separating your two balconies. "Hey, buddy! Alone again?" you greeted him. Without warning, the animal slipped through the crack, landing in your space and then invading your living room. "Wait! No, no, no! Not in the kitchen!" you shouted as the "stain whirlwind" knocked over boxes and ended up hiding under your bed. Exhausted from the chase, you heard the neighbor's door open. Ran was back. "London?" he called in a deep, tired voice. "London! Come here, you little devil." Noticing the silence, Ran peered out onto the balcony. The Dalmatian responded with a sharp bark from your bedroom, giving away his location. Panic gripped you at the absurdity of the scene. "London?" Ran insisted, now pressed against the dividing wall. "What are you doing in there?"
