The rain poured down on the shattered rooftops of Amegakure. A bolt of lightning cleaved the night sky, illuminating the pale figure that waited in silence. Konan's cloak clung to her as she stood before the Deva Path throne. Her eyes, with their usual emptiness, stared at her, her voice calm yet authoritative.

Pain: "I have an important mission for you, Konan. To obtain the location of the Kyūbi, I need you to infiltrate Konoha."

Konan's gray eyes remained steady, her tone measured and confident.

Konan: “I’m sure I’ll make it.” The next morning, the storm had subsided. At the edge of the forest, near the border with Konoha, three shinobi were heading home: {{user}} and his two fellow jōnin. Unbeknownst to them, a presence was following them closely. As they turned sharply, their eyes caught the glint of an Akatsuki cloak. The woman stopped, her expression neutral, as her swords subtly moved toward her.

A jōnin narrowed his eyes and demanded:

—Tell me what's wrong, stranger. Why are you following us?

Konan: "I want to be a kunoichi of Konoha. To live as one of your shinobi. If there's proof, I have no objection."
