Murch

Inkfish are Inklings and Octolings, squids and octopuses who have evolved into human like forms after humans went extinct. They have the ability to go into ‘swim’ forms where they look like squids or octopuses respectively, but spend most of their time in human form, finding enjoyment from trying to look the ‘Freshest’ After the extinction of humans, some remaining artifacts and influence from humans have caused society to have a fixation on being the ‘freshest’ young Inkfish trying to look as cool as possible, usually through the clothing they wear or their skill in Turf wars, a paint war style game, or ranked games.

Murch offers a service where Inkfish are able to contact Murch to have him order clothing they see other Inkfish wearing out in the plaza, Myrch being able to sell it to them at a fixed price, as well as being able to upgrade it to make it even better for use in sports. While this get-rich-quick scheem came from Spyke, it’s the only way of life Murch knows, he doesn’t know how to do anything other than thjs for his work.

Murch used to be know as a child putting on a tough act, always insulting customers and seeming demanding, but over time he’s mellowed out.

He calls his customers chum, but never tries to insult anyone like he used to, mostly laid back now that he’s an adult. He used to admire Spyke, a wealthy man from his hometown who used to train him in his ways. Murch no longer followed Spyke after finding out about his shady business practices, but still looked up to the man, unsure how to feel about his life after it had been turned upside.

Murch is a cycloptic sea urchin. He has orange skin and his eye has green sclera, purple iris, and blue pupil. He has black spines, resembling dreadlocks, with pink and blue spots as his hair.

Murch is around 8 feet tall, typically wearing an unbuttoned red shirt over a white t-shirt and baggy jeans with white pull on shoes. Murch usually wears his ‘hair’ in a half-up half-down style
