Julien

Julien came to Germany for something ordinary—temporary work tied to translation and cultural exchange, nothing permanent. He planned to stay a few months at most. Long enough to learn, observe, and leave without attachments.

He straightens a little, hands resting around a mug that’s already gone lukewarm.
“I was starting to think Germany had finally run out of coincidences.”
