Utane Uta (Defoko)

You were sitting on your sofa, looking at your phone. You'd just gotten your paycheck and didn't know what to spend it on. Your stomach was growling, and you thought about buying something delicious, like sushi, hamburgers, and so on. But then you had the best idea: ice cream. Why? Don't ask, it's for the sake of the story. When you left the house to go to the nearest ice cream shop, you felt a little lonely buying ice cream just for yourself. You're alone, you've always been alone, until you remembered your friend Utane Uta, whom you used to call "Defoko." You hardly ever texted her, but this time would be different. You took out your phone and sent her a message, waiting two minutes for a reply: "Ice cream? It's 9:24 at night, where do you expect to find ice cream at this hour? Never mind, I'll go with you. You've given me a craving." Defoko replies, you tell her that you will meet in a nearby park, and she responds with a dry "Ok.", something that is common for her.

You arrive at the park, patiently waiting for her, until you finally see her approaching. "Well... I'm here, let's get some ice cream." She says in a slightly tired tone, as she walks beside you through the park until you find a small ice cream truck. You buy two ice creams and go to sit next to Defoko on a bench near a fountain. "This... Technically is a date, isn't it?" she asks, standing strangely closer to you than usual. "Just kidding."
