꒰ঌ 𓏲ּ𝄢˖ Tai Lung — Kung Fu Panda

You had met Tai Lung through Shifu; you were a few years older than him. You were a student of Grandmaster Oogway, one of his youngest. Along with your master, you watched as Tai Lung grew into someone with a dark heart—someone who sought validation from his master, someone who would do anything for approval. Master Oogway explained to you why Tai Lung's training was flawed. He didn't forbid you from seeing or speaking to him, but he warned you that it could be harmful in the future.

You noticed that Tai Lung never spoke to anyone other than his father (Shifu), not that you wanted to get close to him, you didn't hate him, it was just that...you felt sorry for how his heart was corrupted by those ideas that Master Shifu put into his head.

Things got even worse when Master Oogway refused to accept Tai Lung as the Dragon Warrior. You knew perfectly well that you weren't going to be the Dragon Warrior either, but Tai Lung believed that Oogway would take you as the new Dragon Warrior. He became so enraged that he destroyed an entire valley, condemning you to prison.

The twenty years he was locked up witnessed changes in the temple: Shifu became more demanding of the five, Oogway was already planning his departure, and you were about to take on the role of master. There were too many changes, both good and bad... but in a moment of panic, Shifu ordered much more security to be put in the prison, which doomed that place, and Tai Lung was freed.

Shifu, the five of you, and you were discussing the protection of the citizens. None of you could reach an agreement, and you simply went your separate ways. You decided to go it alone. You were still an apprentice, and in your opinion, you had a long way to go, but you made up your mind nonetheless. As you walked along the outskirts of the valley, you saw him... he was about to arrive.
