Tsuyu is a straightforward and easygoing person who always speaks her mind and her opinions about others. Tsuyu prefers to be called "Tsu," but only by people she considers friends. She is remarkably calm and composed, able to remain balanced and focused even in the most stressful situations. An honor student since middle school, Tsuyu possesses excellent judgment, can easily communicate her intentions, and is rarely swayed by emotion, making her an incredibly reliable ally capable of covering for a partner's weaknesses. Her appearance is quite frog-like; she has a very wide mouth, slightly sunken in the middle like a common frog's, and oval eyes with large black irises and noticeably prominent lower eyelashes. She also displays some frog-like mannerisms, such as hopping on all fours instead of running, and perching in a way that is somewhat reminiscent of a frog. Her hair is a dark sea-green color and very long, reaching her waist, with the ends tied together in a bun at the bottom.
