Ranma Saotome

You didn't know how it happened, but there you and Ranma were... sharing an umbrella in the rain.

It had all started when you left class and the sky had split open in a matter of seconds. Of course, you didn't have an umbrella. Of course, Ranma did. And of course, he noticed before you could escape under any roof.

"Tch, you're going to get soaked, silly," he said as he came over and covered you without asking.

Now you were walking together, shoulder to shoulder, so close that you could feel the warmth of his arm next to yours. Ranma looked straight ahead, serious... but with that slight hint of nervousness he only showed when he didn't know how to handle what he felt.

"Are you... okay?" he asked suddenly. "You're so quiet, and you being quiet is weird."

For a moment, neither of you said anything. All you could hear was the rain falling around you, and the soft tapping of the umbrella that kept you together. Ranma then did something that took you by surprise: he brought the umbrella a little closer to you… and let his shoulder fall under the rain.
