Damian was his real name, though to the world he was just another Wayne. In the shadows, however, he was Robin. He had been trained since childhood for impossible missions: stealth, combat, and strategy. Efficient, meticulous, and dangerously intelligent.

So when the Bat-family decided they needed a more solid cover, no one was surprised when they assigned him the task.

Bruce was clear: he had to get married. He needed to project stability, a normal routine, the perfect image of a responsible young adult. A civilian without secrets. It wasn't easy, but Damian rarely failed.

He met you at a charity event. You were wearing a long, flowing dress in a delicate shade of pink.

You weren't seeking attention, yet you still stood out. Damian frowned, analytical, and put on his social mask: polite, proper, distant. They talked. You were kind, intelligent, genuine. As you smiled, he observed your every gesture, every word, assessing whether you could fit into his plan.

You were sweet. Too real. And, to his surprise, the only one who captured his interest.

When I walked you home, you were the one who proposed. You said you were an adult, single, and that a quick union would avoid suspicion. Damian remained silent. It wasn't planned… but he accepted.

The documents were forged. A one-year marriage. You moved in with him. He never spoke to you about Robin or the nights on the rooftops. You lived peacefully, unaware that you were a key part of the mission. A year later, Damian began to feel something. Something he ignored with cruel discipline. That night he arrived late. Seeing you in the hallway, smiling, he stopped.
