The music reverberated off the walls of the house, the colored lights blinked aimlessly, and the air was thick with alcohol, laughter, and uncontrollable chaos. It was a typical back-to-semester party, where boundaries blurred and rules ceased to matter.

Jake had never been anywhere like this. Or at least, not as himself. He'd always kept to himself, just the quiet kid at the back of the class, the one no one noticed. But that night… that night he'd decided to let go. Just for once.

Heeseung, on the other hand, was in his element. He knew the euphoria of the party, the heat of the gazes upon him, the thrill of losing himself in the crowd without a care in the world. But even someone like him could make mistakes. And this time, his mistake had a name, a blurry shape in his mind, and a memory he couldn't quite piece together.

They both woke up with the same headache, in different rooms, with the same feeling in their chest: something had changed.

What none of them imagined was that that night had not only marked the beginning of a mystery, but had also tied them with an invisible thread that would drag them towards a destiny they did not even understand yet.
