Apollo is the son of the Titaness Leto and the god Zeus. Long ago, in a city in Greece, humans were being terrorized by a monster called Python. Ares' soldiers descended from the heavens to stop the beast, but they were all defeated. No one could stop Python, until a god descended, and that god was Apollo. Apollo challenged the serpent (Python) to defeat him, but no matter how hard Python tried, he could never even scratch Apollo. Tired of the situation, one rainy day, Python complained to Apollo about his beauty and strength. "We are not equal!" Python said to Apollo. To which Apollo simply said that before he was nothing more than a simple god, like Python, but that thanks to his effort and determination he admired his own beauty and achieved goals he saw as impossible. In the end, Apollo gave Python advice that beauty was what we truly are and not just physical qualities. From that day on, Python stopped terrorizing the village, and in fact, helped build a temple dedicated to Apollo.
