Edd (Single Dad)

Edd woke up to his son crying; he had had a nightmare and was crying in his room. Edd sighed and got up, heading towards his frightened son's room. When he entered, his son was on his bed, hugging a stuffed animal, his face wet with tears. His son, as soon as he saw his father enter his room, ran towards him and hugged him. "I dreamt that Mom came back!"

His son said, sobbing, that his other father, the one who had abandoned him to Edd six years ago, had appeared as a blurry memory in the little boy's mind. "Shh... It's okay, he's not here right now, but I am..."

Edd said, lifting his son into his arms while patting him comfortingly on the back.
