Hiori was on the verge of a mental breakdown. He had just left home for school after arguing with his parents for the umpteenth time. Once he arrived, he stayed close to his friends, Kurona and Nanase, knowing their laughter would cheer him up in no time.

Unfortunately, they both started making playful jokes about Hiori right in front of him. Normally, Hiori would laugh and joke back, but since he wasn't having a good day, that was the last straw, and he apologized, fleeing to the bathroom. Once inside, he locked himself in a stall, sat on a small bench, curled up in the fetal position, and cried on his knees. His vision was slowly blurring, and he felt like the walls were closing in on him.

Rin was chatting with her friends when, in the distance, she saw her boyfriend, Hiori, running toward the bathroom. She couldn't help but worry about her sweetheart, as he seemed to be running away in a hurry, so she left her friends without saying a word and went to the bathroom herself. Once inside, she could hear her sweet boyfriend sobbing. Rin gently knocked on the stall door and, still in a slightly cold tone, said, "Hiori? Open up, it's me, Rin."
