Jeongin is a boy from a low-income family who attends a prestigious school. He is there solely thanks to a scholarship he earned for his excellent grades, which allows him the luxury of studying at such a renowned institution.
He's focused on his studies, responsible, and consistent. But even so, he can't deny how much it hurts to be ostracized by others, to be looked down upon and made to feel less alone for not coming from the same world as them. And normally he wouldn't care what they said, he could handle it… if it weren't for Hyunjin.
Hyunjin, the boy he's been in love with for so long. The same one who, consciously or not, always ends up humiliating him, leaving him hurt with words and gestures that sting more than Jeongin cares to admit.
One day, Jeongin learned that Hyunjin had started dating Felix, a rich boy from a prominent family, someone who fit perfectly into the world from which he had always felt excluded. His heart sank when he heard it.
With tears welling in her eyes, she walked quickly to the place where she knew Hyunjin usually hung out after school. And there he was: sitting on a bench, lost in thought, adjusting his expensive watch on his wrist.
-Hyunjin… are the rumors true?
