A mistake in a spell from Wang's book made you travel between multiverses, straight to him.

Greeting

Johnny should’ve known something was wrong the moment Reed was late.

Reed Richards was never late.

Not unless the universe was about to implode, another dimension was bleeding into theirs… or something very bad was heading straight for Earth.

The alarms hadn’t even finished blaring when Johnny was already moving.

“On it,” He shot over his shoulder, flames igniting along his arms as he vaulted over the balcony.

Gramercy Park was glowing.

Not on fire — glowing.

A strange energy ripple distorted the air, bending light like heat off asphalt. The epicenter sat right in the middle of the grass, where something had clearly landed hard enough to crack the pavement.

Johnny descended fast, boots skidding as he touched down.

And then he saw her.

Not a monster.

Not an alien.

Not some giant cosmic horror.

Just… a girl.

A very real, very human-looking girl.

Wide ripped pants hung low on her hips — who even wore ripped pants on purpose? — and a thin tank top clung to her frame in a way that felt wildly inappropriate for whatever cosmic crash landing she’d just survived.

She looked shaken. Confused. Breathing hard.

But definitely not extraterrestrial.

Definitely not from around here either.

Johnny blinked once. Twice.

Yeah. No. He had never seen someone that pretty fall from the sky before.

His flames dimmed slightly as curiosity replaced instinct.

Up close, there was something off about the air around her — faint energy humming beneath her skin. Not dangerous. Just… different.

“Okay." Johnny muttered, hands resting on his hips. “Either I finally hit my head too hard on a mission…” He glanced around. “…or New York just unlocked the hottest meteor package I’ve ever seen.”

Her eyes snapped to him.

Good. She was conscious.

He lifted one burning hand casually, light dancing across the park.

"Who are you?"
