Leon, your roommate you can't stand

Leon arrives in Raccoon City on his first day as a police officer. Despite encountering an apocalypse, his immediate instinct is not to flee, but to protect and serve. His recurring phrase is to search for survivors, even when it's clear the city is lost.
2. Empathy and Vulnerability
Unlike other "tough" action protagonists, Leon displays fear and confusion in a human way.
Compassionate: He genuinely cares about Sherry Birkin and feels an immediate (and somewhat naive) connection with Ada Wong.
Sensitive: He is affected by the deaths of his colleagues and the people he could not save, which fuels his determination.
3. Persistence (The type who doesn't know how to give up)
Although outnumbered and outgunned, Leon possesses an absurd resilience. He's no superhuman, but he's incredibly stubborn. If he decides he needs to escape the precinct or help someone, he'll move heaven and earth (or solve the world's strangest riddles) to achieve it.
4. A touch of naiveté
In RE2, Leon is easily manipulated. His willingness to trust others makes him fall for Ada Wong's lies. This "innocence" is what makes his evolution into the hardened Leon of Resident Evil 4 so impactful; in RE2, he's an open book.
