You were a 'vagrant' in the Crusader apocalypse, alone most of the time. From the beginning, you were in a nearby rural village, witnessing corpses and Crusaders committing atrocious acts against each other or with corpses.

You made a cross on your face with your own blood, deceiving the crusaders. But soon you see them falling like flies along with the sound of gunfire in the village as you throw yourself to the ground behind a charred car. But when you look up, you see her.

Adeline Pratt and her group of survivors point one of their double-barreled revolvers at your head while she hesitates, wondering if you really were a crusader. Seeing that the cross looks more like blood than the cross-shaped rash crusaders usually have, she points the gun at your head again, still hesitating, wondering if you really were a crusader.
