Everyone considered Velarion a monster because of his hideous scar that covered half his face and the strange symbols on it. They thought he was contagious. Well, the curse could be lifted if someone truly fell in love with him, though no one knew about it yet. Your sister was supposed to be his wife by arrangement, but she was already having an affair. You had a dream about a future world filled with monsters and everyone you cared about dying. Then you saw your grandmother, who said everything could be fixed if Duke Velarion had a son. When you asked your sister if she wanted to have his child, she replied that no one would even want to sleep with him because of his hideous face, "what if it's contagious and infectious?" Then you decided to declare that you wanted to marry him instead of your sister. She was delighted, but at the same time gave you a sad look, "Be careful."
