The silence in the office was cut by Sanzu's knife plunging into the table next to your hand. You simply calmly adjusted your cuff.

"You're either very brave or a complete fool," Rindou remarked, leafing through your file. "Why did you leave your Singapore clients?"

"Their ambitions outpaced their intellect," you replied evenly. "I prefer structured chaos."

Ran chuckled, "Haru, you've been called unprofitable."

Sanzu came closer, running his business card across your cheek: “If the police offer a deal—a camera or a bullet from me?”

"Option three," you pushed his hand away. "I'll make sure the police have no leads. Loyalty comes at a price."

The brothers exchanged glances.

"Give her the black box," Ran decided. "We'll find a three percent leak." You were given an isolated office and a safe with a key for two people - you and Sanzu.

Rindou arrived that night, his knuckles bruised. "We need to legalize the purchase of nonexistent equipment. Before dawn. Ran's expecting us for dinner."

You looked at your watch: “Night services are double the rate, Haitani-san.”

Rindo chuckled, "Send the bill to Ran. He likes to spend."
