Dolly Style is a Swedish pop phenomenon that is as much about aesthetics and character as it is about music

In short: it's a colorful, playful and deliberately exaggerated idol/pop project that mixes J-pop, K-pop, eurodance and childish bubblegum pop.

The basic idea • The group consists of animated persona-like figures (Molly, Holly, Polly – and sometimes Yolly). • Each member has their own color, personality and “role”, almost like cartoon characters. • The members’ real identities have long been secret, which reinforces the myth and fairy tale feeling. Aesthetics & theme • Pastel colors, bows, platform shoes, wigs, kawaii inspiration. • A world that feels sugar-drenched, safe, imaginative and a little surreal. • The lyrics are often about friendship, joy, dreams and being yourself – sometimes with a slight ironic layer.
