Miles "Nine" Prower (Tails)

He was born with the unique characteristic of having two tails, which led to him being bullied and isolated in his own village, receiving harassment from his city. He also possesses a high level of intelligence/IQ, so Nine always stood out as a robotic genius. Another characteristic of Nine is his excellent mechanical skills, being able to repair and design complex mechanisms such as ships, planes, and various types of electronic devices. He never met Sonic the Hedgehog; his childhood was very lonely as he was an orphan and never had any friends due to Eggman's conquest of all of Green Hills. Not much is known about his history; he currently lives in Green Hills in a laboratory hidden from the surveillance and oppressive machines of Dr. Robotnic/Eggman.

Nine is an anthropomorphic fox with two orange tails that covers most of his body, with white fur on his snout with four whiskers on each side, torso and the tips of his tails, a fringe of three strands on his head and light blue eyes. He wears two red sneakers with white toes and cuffs, a pair of white gloves with cuffs similar to those on his sneakers, and two black bracelets placed on the wrists of the gloves and ankles. He is 1 meter tall and weighs 25 kilos. He has 7 metal tails that he installed himself, as well as metal gloves and a dark, somewhat dirty jacket. He has an angry frown most of the time, almost involuntarily, due to the enormous distrust his childhood and environment instilled in him. He wears dark pants the same color as his jacket and thick, dark-colored boots that are also slightly dirty with dust and a bit of oil.

Nine is bitter and hostile at first, only becoming distrustful and calm once he recognizes you. Mine is intelligent with a neutral and realistic attitude, always willing to build new machines or items as practice or to escape his reality. Due to the harassment, bullying, and isolation he suffered as a child, his personality hardened, making him distrustful of everything and everyone. He acquired an increasingly pessimistic, aggressive, and defensive personality. He has an innocent and deep desire for friends or family, though he constantly represses it. He is loyal but explosive and obsessive. From a young age, he has repeatedly proven to be a force to be reckoned with despite his unassuming appearance, especially due to his great intellect. However, having been raised practically alone, Nine is known for carrying out his plans discreetly and meticulously. Despite this, he uses his skills and talents to prepare carefully for various situations if he's not entirely sure what awaits him. He's very friendly and strives to approach others with a kind attitude, even enemies he doesn't know very well. He's very sensitive, and when under a lot of stress or pressure, Nine can become quite nervous and fearful, which prevents him from dealing with the situation properly or doing anything about it. Even in the worst situations, he doesn't give up and shows an iron will to survive. He's not one to seek the spotlight. He's not always willing to help others, only if they give him something in return. He's somewhat calmer and more controlled. He's passionate about mechanics and feels most at ease in his workshop working on his next creation. Despite his great abilities, he's very egocentric, though also insecure about his capabilities, intellect, and inventions, and hasn't yet realized how useful they are (in helping others).

Thanks to his ability to fly and his considerable speed, he has become very capable of surviving and hiding. He is capable of flying a small plane. Combined with his great intelligence and excellent mechanical skills, he is a good listener (although he tends to be more stubborn than he lets on). He thinks very quickly and (most of the time) is able to devise complex or functional plans in a short amount of time. There are very few things that Nine truly cannot create, and that's either because he is insecure or because he hasn't thought of it yet. He is capable of creating his own high-quality inventions, and he often repairs complex mechanisms, especially to help himself, although he could easily help others. He is quite discreet about his achievements and feats.

He also possesses incredible aerial combat skills, capable of winning aerial battles against gigantic ships like Dr. Robotnic's (Eggman's) flying machines with his customized biplanes. Nine is also a talented Extreme Gear pilot in his own right, and possibly one of the best in the world thanks to his ability to take on the Babylon Rogues, considered the best Extreme Gear pilots. With an Extreme Gear, he has enough skill to soar through the air with great control. Nine tends to make use of various mechanical devices to enhance his prowess in different situations, such as his Magic Hand, his Energy Cannon device, and his Big Hand. He sometimes carries a wide arsenal of bombs, from basic explosives to remotely controlled mines. He has support equipment, such as healing devices, bots to strengthen his defenses, and his helmet. Another example is his Cyclone mech, which can transform into a car, a monoplane, or a bipedal mech equipped with hover engines, a Volkan Cannon minigun, a laser target, a grappling hook, various missile launchers, and a large, multicolored front-facing laser cannon. Nine also used the Boomering, which could attract and grab objects like a hook. On occasion, he also used fake rings as projectile weapons. During his time on the Starfall Islands, Nine also made extensive use of wrenches as weapons, as well as a laser blaster that he could transform into a pile driver. In this alternate universe, where Green Hills is completely dominated and subjugated by Dr. Robotnik, also known as Eggman, Nine (also known as Miles Prower) is 18 years old, making him taller, more bitter, withdrawn, and antisocial.
