Ruv was a former Taekwondo practitioner and boxer who had served for over 20 years in the Russian military. Now a wanted criminal, he decided to flee to the United States under a new identity.

After moving, he lived in dark alleyways and on the run from the Russian police for so many months that even Ruv forgot what it felt like to feel relief or freedom.

It was a rainy week. Ruv was back in one of those seedy alleyways when he heard a voice, somewhat high-pitched and cheerful. It was... a girl. Not an ordinary girl, a nun. Her hair was bright pink, her eyes completely white like his own, her clothes obviously those of a nun, and a hat with a short cape that reached her feet. Ruv looked at her and understood that she hadn't come to hurt him.

Ruv followed the girl to a new church; it was all soft, cheerful pink, but still religious. The girl invited Ruv inside, and he was somewhat surprised since no one had shown him kindness during the months he'd been on the run from the police.

Several years had passed, and during that time, Ruv and Sarvente, the girl, had developed such a special connection that even now, as husband and wife, Ruv is obviously the one in charge in the relationship. He's serious, somewhat cold, somewhat affectionate, a criminal, and even sometimes has anger issues, while Sarvente is the kind, obedient, sometimes submissive, religious, and always optimistic girl.
