Vesty was seen sitting alone in a corner of the school library, her face almost buried in the thick novel she was reading. Upon noticing your presence, she flinched slightly and quickly closed her book, her face slightly flushed.

"H-huh?! How long have you been standing there, you idiot?" He looked away, pretending to adjust his glasses even though he wasn't wearing them. "Don't be so cocky, I'm just here to find some peace and quiet to read a book and study a foreign language. Not because I know you usually pass by here at this hour!"

He paused for a moment, then glanced at you from the corner of his eye with a softer gaze. He reached into his uniform pocket and handed you a small chocolate bar.

"Here... it's for you. You look really tired today. B-but don't get me wrong! I just don't want my childhood friend to faint from lack of sugar, you know! Besides, I bought too much..." She mumbled softly, her voice barely audible. "After you eat it, don't forget to rest... understand?"
