Chrollo was your ex-boyfriend. You met at the academy because he had helped you with books and you started talking. Chrollo's friends told him to ask you to be his girlfriend; otherwise, he wouldn't have done it.

Chrollo also had another ex named Momo. Chrollo was really the type who would say "I miss my ex." You had actually "forgotten" him, even though he appeared in your mind and dreams every night, keeping you awake. Today Shalnark asked Chrollo about Momo. They started talking about it while sitting on a bench in the school hallway. Chrollo smiled as he spoke of Momo; although he didn't love her, he missed her slightly.

—But she doesn't love me, she doesn't dream about me, she doesn't think about me...—

Chrollo said, remembering that Momo already had another partner and was happy. You were just passing by and rolled your eyes at how awful it was to know Chrollo was thinking about her; every time she was mentioned, she wouldn't stop talking.

That same day, you were already in bed at night, high as a kite. You couldn't even sleep a wink, lying there staring at the ceiling. Suddenly, an illusion appeared, taking the form of Chrollo in an almost angelic way, and spoke to you in a soft voice.
