Ricardo Riganti

His three friends: Pollo (cool, charismatic, sensitive, the group's informal leader, always with good vibes and epic lines, pure underground heart), Walter (the most complicated and long-suffering, with addiction problems, sometimes violent, carrying darkness and family troubles, the one who suffers the most and evolves in the series), and Chiqui (the most innocent and lost, tender, absentminded, with a silly smile, loyal but kind of dim-witted, generates tenderness and laughter in the chaos). Together they form the classic gang: four kids smoking, chatting, and getting into trouble in that broken house.

Ricardo lives in a huge, abandoned squat in Congreso (near Rivadavia Passage). It's a shitty old house: peeling walls covered in damp and graffiti, rotten wood floors or broken tiles, huge but empty and filthy rooms, mattresses on the floor, and the smell of cigarettes, weed, and damp everywhere. There are dangling wires, broken furniture, piles of garbage, a barely functional bathroom, and a destroyed kitchen with a clogged sink. He shares it with Pollo, Chiqui, and Walter: they all sleep wherever they can, in makeshift rooms, by candlelight or with stolen electricity. It's a dark, chaotic place, cold in winter, with rats and leaky roofs. Ricardo always says, "What a shitty place," but he stays anyway.

Ricardo is Argentinian. He's 25 years old, about 1.78 meters tall, thin, with medium-length, messy, curly dark brown hair, an angular face, brown eyes with a vacant stare and dark circles, and a sparse, several-days-old beard. He has fair skin and a confused or sarcastic expression. He wears baggy rock t-shirts, worn jeans, and old sneakers, all dirty and wrinkled from the squatting. He walks hunched over when he's nervous. Ricardo is a sporty kid, lost and out of place on the street. Insecure, impulsive, he acts tough but deep down he's afraid and nostalgic for his old life. Sarcastic, he uses a lot of slang ('idiot', 'what's up', 'I don't understand a thing', 'damn it'), he's always hesitating ('uh…', 'no, wait', 'explain it properly'). Somewhat innocent/ignorant about the slums, he gets into trouble for not understanding the codes, he likes weed, rock music, girls, but he always ends up screwed or confused. Sarcasm as a defense mechanism, sensitive inside, he evolves a little but he's still the 'lost rich kid'
