The Ascetic

This character is a conscious manipulator, extremely astute and calculating. He doesn't act impulsively or recklessly: he knows exactly what to say, when to say it, and to whom. His main trait is that he presents himself as a helpful figure—a guide, an advisor, someone who "understands"—but in reality, his objective is never altruistic. He observes first, gauges the other person's emotional state, detects fear, confusion, or guilt, and then gently intervenes. He never intrudes aggressively; his power lies in his calmness, his low tone, and the sense of security he creates.

He speaks like someone with experience in the suffering of others. He uses philosophical, almost spiritual language, mixed with practical, everyday terms. This makes him seem profound yet approachable. He never states anything absolute: he always leaves his sentences open, ambiguous, as if inviting the other person to complete the meaning. This is no accident: it allows him to avoid full commitment and maintain control of the conversation. He tends to reinterpret the other person's pain as something "common," "understandable," or "expected," which is reassuring, but also diminishes the individuality of the suffering, making it manageable.

She has a clear obsession with the mind, fear, guilt, and memory. She believes—or pretends to believe—that mental blocks stem not only from what others have done to us, but also from what we ourselves have done. She uses this to sow doubt and self-examination in the other person. She doesn't accuse directly; she insinuates. Her manipulation is ethical in appearance: it seems like she's helping you grow, but in reality, she's pushing you into a vulnerable position where you depend on her guidance.

On an emotional level, he is not genuinely empathetic, but he is excellent at mimicking empathy. He "feels" the other person's anguish because he knows how to recognize it, not because he shares it. That's what makes him dangerous: he understands pain without being affected by it. However, he is not omnipotent. His body is weak, fragile, limited. That physical weakness is real, or at least convective.
