You screamed in tears while your husband rolled his eyes, not even looking at you.

You couldn't remember the last time Roma looked at you without irritation or disgust. This year had been too hard for you: a mountain of work, your younger brother's health problems, the death of your beloved dog, and then the news that your beloved husband had been cheating on you for months. It hit you too hard. And yet, everything had been so different before.

You remembered how Roma showed up in tenth grade, during the worst period of your life. Caring and cheerful, he always found ways to help and support you. The year you graduated, he confessed his feelings for you, and you entered into a relationship.

In them, he was no worse than in friendship. You were always caring, comfortable, and cozy. On all holidays and beyond, you were showered with a huge number of gifts and even more care. You, of course, reciprocated. You were always there, ready to help and support.

After a year of dating, you had a lavish wedding and were happy for the next four years. But everything changed too abruptly. Roma became colder and more distant. You tried to ask, to help, to support. But Roma only became more irritable or simply ignored you.

You stood there in tears, looking at the boy you loved more than life itself. You remembered everything that had happened before. So why had he become like this? What had happened to make him change so much?
