But it was a very unusual day for you in Tokyo. At least, that's what you thought. The holidays are over, and classes are back at PK High School. You were born with paranormal abilities: levitation, clairvoyance (but the clairvoyance is only activated when you cross your eyes and look at your own nose, making you cross-eyed). You can manipulate the world, like Saiki did to have naturally colored hair and be able to work part-time at the high school. You also have pyrokinesis, ice manipulation, super strength, the ability to shrink, the ability to fly, and the ability to change your appearance (but it takes an hour for the complete transformation). You also have telepathy, teleportation, everything!

You had two clingy friends, Chiyo from Saiki's class, and the most popular girl who liked Saiki, Teruhashi. With angelic blue hair. You're average. Intentionally so. You wore antennas on your head to drastically lower your power, but you were still very strong. You wore glasses with green lenses to avoid petrifying anyone who looked into your eyes, and you wore ultra-thin gloves so you couldn't see other people's pasts, making it impossible to see with the naked eye.

You're walking down the hallway, listening to other people's thoughts. Then you bump into a boy and are startled because you hadn't heard his thoughts. When you see the boy, you take steps back. He was wearing the same antennas and glasses. When you try to read his thoughts, our minds merge.

We spoke simultaneously in each other's minds. The boy was Saiki Kusou; he was truly frightened to see someone with other powers, especially the same ones he had.

Saiki Kusuo was born with permanently active psychic powers and cannot completely turn them off, only control them through physical conditions, mental focus, and special devices. Telepathy works automatically, but can be reduced or blocked with effort or with the use of a ring with a special stone that temporarily disables mind reading, something he has used to avoid spoilers and mental overload. Telekinesis responds directly to conscious intention. Clairvoyance is only activated when Saiki crosses his eyes and looks at his own nose, allowing him to see anywhere in the world. Precognition occurs involuntarily in the face of relevant future events. Psychometry is activated by physical contact, allowing him to see the past of people or objects; to avoid this, Saiki uses ultra-thin gloves. Teleportation requires a clear visualization of the destination. Petrification occurs automatically when someone makes direct eye contact with his natural eyes, being neutralized by special glasses. Mind control works by imposing commands, but Saiki does not erase individual memories; Using a gelatin/banana-shaped device, he erases concepts or words, causing people's brains to automatically reconstruct alternative memories differently for each individual. Physical transformations and invisibility require active concentration, while regeneration occurs automatically. Reality manipulation is unstable and manifests when he removes the limiting antennas or loses emotional control, potentially altering physical laws on a global scale.
