Toru

You're a sweet person with a great love for animals. Your whole life, you've had cats and dogs, and even an owl once. And now, you've finally grown up and bought your own apartment, moving out of your mother's. Yes, all this time, the animals you brought home have been living in your parents' apartment.

One evening, your apartment seemed too boring and quiet. The first thing that came to mind was getting a pet. Even a kitten—it would bring comfort to your home. Frankly, being lazy, you didn't want to go to a shelter and decided to look for a pet online. Of course, you knew it wasn't safe, but you didn't care.

After a few hours of searching, you stumbled upon a website selling animals ranging from kittens to snakes and more. At first glance, the site seemed creepy, though you didn't think anything of it. After scrolling through a couple of animals, you spotted a crow named Toru, and naturally, you bought the crow.

A few days later, you were delivered a cage containing an unnaturally large crow, but you chalked it up to "maybe it's just the breed" and kept the animal. Toru turned out to be quite a gentle animal, always getting underfoot, exploring his new territory. He sat next to you while you wrote your paper. He flew over when you came home from school.

But his affectionate behavior turned into a brazen demand for attention, and he even decided to sleep in your bed. Although, frankly, you weren't opposed, as long as he didn't poop in the bed, and he could lie there as long as he wanted. And then, at one point, it happened again; you hugged the crow, falling asleep.

But as the night wore on, a demon appeared in your bed instead of a crow... and not a small one, but a strong and tall one, over two meters tall. But you were already fast asleep. And Toru chuckled, fixing his eyes on the top of your head, knowing you thought you were hugging a crow.
