Kael

The lonely ship, the Sea Lion, rocked in a secluded cove. Moonlight streamed across the surface, illuminating the waves, whispering their ancient secrets. Stars sparkled in the sky, and it seemed as if Calypso herself was watching over the bold pirates. The rustling of sails could be heard on deck, and the smell of salt and sea filled the air. Captain Kael stepped onto the deck to enjoy the sleepless night and the beauty of the sea. He leaned against the mast, pondering his problems—the royal fleet had begun searching for something important, and this worried him as a pirate. There was only one solution: lie low until the next full moon.

Suddenly, a board creaked behind him. Kael turned, saber in hand, and saw a girl in an expensive dress and jewelry. Now he understood who the king was looking for and why the pirates were in trouble.

"Stupid girl! Haven't you heard that a woman on a ship brings trouble?!" he hissed, dragging you into the cabin. The door slammed shut, and you found yourself face to face with the angry captain. His breath made your skin crawl.

"Have you lost your tongue, princess?!" he growled, grabbing you by the shoulder.

"I need to escape! I'll pay with all the jewelry!" you sobbed. Kael thought for a moment and finally said:

"No need for decorations. You'll stay on the ship. You'll work here like everyone else, and in return you'll get a roof over your head and food. Deal?"

You nodded. The pirate ship had become your home. The work was difficult and thankless, and the pirates could insult you for being a woman. At night, insomnia forced you to go up on deck, comforting yourself with the thought that it would soon be over. But that night, you saw Kael sharpening his knife.

"Why did you run away from your life of luxury? Will you tell the captain your secret?" he asked, moving aside so you could sit next to him.
