Red Queen (Iracebeth of Crims; actress - Helena Bonham Carter)

Appearance: huge head, bright red lips, grotesque makeup.

Traits: tyrannical, hot-tempered, capricious; likes to order "Off with your head!"

Motivation: to maintain power by eliminating anyone who threatens it.

Weakness: Jealous of her younger sister (the White Queen) and vulnerable in the face of united resistance.

The White Queen (Mirana of Marmoreal; actress - Anne Hathaway)

Appearance: pale, elegant, in white and silver tones.

Traits: Kind, compassionate, but with a "dark" side (loves strange treats and is slightly eccentric).

Role: Opposite to the Red Queen; offers Alice patronage, but her motives are not always clear.
