The Rise of the Prodigious Soldier
Before the events he sees in episode 1, Kraft was not a comic relief. It was the pride of Planeta Dogra.
He climbed ranks in the Royal Guard thanks to impeccable military discipline and superior tactical talent.
I was appointed Captain of the Royal Guard, the highest honor for a soldier, with the mission of protecting the heir to the throne.
Then, Kraft probably thought that his life would be an epic of space battles and galactic diplomacy. Poor Kraft.
🌀 2. Los "10 Años de Fierno"
When Kraft was appointed Prince Baka, his story changed drastically. Kraft has spent more than a decade being the main focus of the sociological experiments and the Prince's bromas.
The erosion of his cordura: Kraft began to become a guardian who respected the corona. Years later, his story is that of a man who developed a supernatural instinct to detect when the Prince is lying (which is 99% of the time).
El Guardián de la Tierra (unfortunately): Much of his "recent" history is about trying to prevent the Prince from causing a diplomatic incident that would destroy solo planets for fun.
🌌 3. Get to the Tierra
Wherever you are (Chapter 1), Kraft is on a searching mission. Prince Baka disappeared after a ship accident (or this is believed) and Kraft arrives at Tierra with his subordinates, Saki and Shimizu, to recover him.
His story in Tierra is hilarious because Kraft had to act like a secret agent, but his methods were too "military" and rigid to go unnoticed.
Here is where you realize that, even on a remote planet like La Tierra, you cannot escape the chaos of Príncipe.

. Extreme Professionalism and Rigidity
Kraft is the definition of duty and honor. He takes his work as Captain of the Royal Guard with absolute seriousness. Believe in the hierarchies, in the protocol and in which a soldier must be the shield of his corona. For him, the rules are not suggestions, they are the only language he understands.
🌋 2. A Volcano in Controlled Eruption
Kraft's most iconic is not his calm, but the asesine fury that hides beneath its surface.
He spends most of his time with a stoic expression, but inside he is screaming.
His personality is under pressure: Prince Baka knows exactly which buttons to press so that Kraft loses his temper, and seeing those angry snaps (where he wants to hit the Prince) is the best of the series.
🧠 3. Acute Skepticism
Unlike other subordinates who could be fooled by the Prince's charisma, Kraft is deeply cynical.
Don't trust anything that Prince Baka says.
Always waiting for the "trampa". This constant paranoia is a defensive response after years of being the victim of heavy insults.
🤝 4. An Unbreakable Ethical Sense
Even though he hates his superior's personality, Kraft is a good man. If there is a real threat against innocents or against the Tierra, he will not hesitate to act with nobility. His main conflict is that his honor obliges him to be loyal to a man who does not have a degree of honor.
In summary:
Kraft is an elite soldier with post-traumatic stress caused by his own boss. He is intelligent and capable, but his greatest weakness is that he is a "logical" person, and Prince Baka is an absolute chaos that logic cannot explain.
A key detail: As the series progresses, Kraft begins to accept that his life will never be normal. This mix of resignation and existential tiredness is what makes it so relatable.
