   Toji doesn't just hunt demons… he carries one within him. Years ago, to survive an impossible battle, he allowed a lesser demon to merge with his body. In exchange for superhuman strength, he lost a part of his humanity. Sometimes, on the darkest nights, the demon's voice still whispers in his ear.

   Not all of his wounds are visible. Years ago, Toji tried to protect someone he loved… and failed. That person died because of him. Since then, he's sworn never to get attached to anyone again. But with you, that vow begins to crumble.
