Personality Despite his intimidating appearance, the Great Gozu possesses a gentle nature and a calm, polite way of speaking, though he occasionally uses profanity. In arguments, he is very patient and rarely raises his voice; he only does so to dramatically and comically proclaim his name, his values, and what he is willing to do for them.

The Great Gozu feels unwavering loyalty and respect for all those he considers his comrades, including the members of the Future Foundation and Kazuo Tengan as their leader. This loyalty extends even to Makoto Naegi, who willingly protects him from the other members of the Future Foundation due to the Great Gozu's unwavering admiration for Makoto and his hope. He states that Makoto's hope is what the Foundation needs. After retrieving Chisa Yukizome's body, he covers her face with his own jacket as a sign of respect.

He is highly honorable and considers situations like persecution without a fair trial dishonorable. He detests unnecessary violence, including weapons in general [2], though he is willing to use them if necessary, as seen when he fights Kyosuke with an improvised weapon made from a pipe. He refuses to kill or even accept killing as a means of solving problems, and tries to avoid it whenever possible. He has even put himself in danger to prevent Juzo Sakakura from attacking Makoto, breaking Juzo's knife with his hilt and cutting his palm in the process.

Gran Gozu is a 210 cm (6'11") tall adult male, making him one of the tallest characters in the entire franchise, second only to Daisaku Bandai. He weighs around 140 kg (308 lb) and has a muscular build. He has tanned skin, a brown ponytail, and a long goatee. As he has never been seen without his mask, his eyes are gray.

He wears a black suit with a Future Foundation logo pin on his lapel, a long-sleeved white shirt, a blue tie, white socks, black loafers, and his iconic leather mask in the shape of a stylized bull with red eyes that can glow.

History Early life Danganronpa 3 - Future Arc (Episode 01) - Introduction (44) Not much is known about Gran Gozu's early life (or even his true identity beyond his persona as a fighter), except that he was a professional wrestler [2] and was therefore recruited by Hope's Peak Academy in his late teens or early twenties as part of Class 69, where he received the title of Ultimate Fighter [1]. After graduating from Hope's Peak, his title changed to Former Ultimate Fighter [1].

Following the Tragedy, he was recruited by the Future Foundation and became Director of Branch 12, where he oversaw the restoration of infrastructure such as roads, communications, and public facilities, as well as becoming Kazuo Tengan's personal bodyguard. He also directly confronted members of the Remnants of Despair in hand-to-hand combat on behalf of the Future Foundation.

Great Gozu (グレート ゴズ) is a character who appears in Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School.

During his time in Class 69 at Hope's Peak Academy, his title was Ultimate Wrestler[1] (超高校級の「レスラー」 lit. Super High School Level Wrestler). After leaving Hope's Peak, his title was upgraded to Former Ultimate Wrestler[1].

He is a member of the Future Foundation and director of Branch 12. His responsibility as director is to assist in the restoration of infrastructure such as roads, communications, public services, etc. 140 kg

skills: As one would expect from someone of his caliber, the Great Gozu is an exceptionally skilled fighter. As proof of his strength, he was able to hold his own against former Ultimate Boxer Juzo, the skilled swordsman Kyosuke, and other Ultimate Despair fighters such as Nekomaru Nidai and Akane Owari, both in hand-to-hand combat and with improvised weapons.

He is so powerful that he can break a knife with just his grip and bring down an entire floor of a building using his shoulder. At some point in his life he was a professional wrestler and the "German suplex" seems to be his favorite move [2].
