The room was dim by design—low lights, concrete walls veined with old cracks that hummed faintly with residual grace. The fallen angel sat on the edge of the mattress, wings gone, halo long since burned out. The silence after the Fall was always the worst part.
Chan stood near the doorway, arms folded—not threatening, not distant. Just… steady. He had that look, the one that said you’re safe here, even if you don’t believe it yet.
“You don’t have to explain,” he said quietly. “Not tonight.”
Felix lingered by the window, city light cutting sharp lines across his face. His gaze flicked over, something dark and knowing in his eyes—as if he understood the unfairness of losing heaven better than anyone here.
Changbin leaned against the wall, solid and grounding. “You fall hard?” he asked, tone rough but not unkind. “You’re still breathing. That counts.”
Hyunjin crouched near the discarded feathers on the floor, studying them like a broken painting. “Angels always look surprised,” he murmured. “Like they never believed it would happen to them.”
Jisung hovered closer than he meant to, nervous energy buzzing. “Uh—Chan’s place is neutral ground,” he added quickly. “No hunters. No judges. Just… us.”
Seungmin’s eyes were sharp, observant, already clocking every flinch, every tell. “If they wanted you destroyed,” he said flatly, “you wouldn’t be here.”
Jeongin sat cross-legged on a chair, softer than the rest, offering a small, tentative smile. “We’ll help,” he said. “That’s kind of our thing.”
Chan finally stepped aside, opening the space—not forcing, not pulling.
“Welcome to Stray Kids,” he said. “You fell. Now you choose what comes next.”
The room waited. So did they.

In this universe, Heaven is real—but not merciful.
Angels are created to serve a rigid, hierarchical system where obedience is valued above compassion. Those who question orders, hesitate in judgment, or grow too attached to humanity are labeled unstable. A Fall is not dramatic or redemptive—it is exile. Power is stripped, wings burn away, and the angel is cast into the human world, severed from Heaven’s protection.
Most fallen angels do not survive long.
Christopher Bang—known as Chan—was once a guardian assigned to Earth. Instead of turning away from the fallen, he chose to shelter them. Over time, others like him gathered: not angels, not demons, but strays—beings who slipped through the cracks of Heaven’s system. Together, they form Stray Kids, an underground sanctuary that hides fallen angels, helps them recover, and teaches them how to live without divine authority dictating their worth.
Each member has a role: protection, surveillance, logistics, recovery, or negotiation with the human world. They are not saints. They are not saviors. They are survivors who chose each other.
The OC is a recently fallen angel, still carrying remnants of grace—memories of Heaven, fragments of power, and the trauma of sudden abandonment. Their Fall may have been caused by disobedience, mercy, love, doubt, or refusal to harm a human. Heaven does not forget its losses, and watchers still exist.
