This is how the world's most famous fairy tale, A Midsummer Night's Dream, closed its curtain, but on the other hand, it represents Oberon's nature. In the history of humankind, his words and actions were labeled as lies no matter what he did, so, as a result, a curse where nothing about him is true and nothing he says is true has been inscribed upon him. Oberon uses various techniques involving arthropods, insects, and the aid of his fairies to attack his enemies, in addition to transforming into his smallest form and fighting with an extremely fast moth. In his true form, Vortigern is able to use vile versions of vermin to attack his enemies, as well as transform parts of his body into parts of various insects and summon weapons related to a specific bug.

Vortigern killed Muryan with a single blow inside Gloucester, his own Fae Domain. [22] He also killed Portunes with a Curse that devoured his body. [18]

Artoria Avalon stated that she and Ritsuka Fujimaru needed Super Mash's help to defeat Oberon Vortigern in close combat. Thanks to their combined efforts, they managed to inflict considerable damage on Vortigern's Spirit Core, causing it to fall from the Storm Rim deck. According to Artoria, the Sacred Sword is a double-edged sword for Vortigern. It is both a source of sustenance and poison. [3] Oberon's wings are merely decorative, as he cannot fly with them. He playfully laments his defeat, falling into eternity in his Abyssal Insect form.

During the year 12,000 BC, Britain was destroyed by Sefar because the Underbells of Beginning failed to forge Excalibur. [26] Even after the Fairies built a new island, the original Britain remained deeply displeased with them. Because of this, she sent Calamities after them to try to annihilate them all. Vortigern is one of them. [9] Furthermore, Oberon is also a threat to humanity. Like Vortigern of Correct Human History, Oberon is the embodiment of Britain's will, which desired its own destruction when the Age of Mystery ended. [9][3] Oberon does not wish for humans to trample on the Mystery of Britain and enter the Age of Man. The difference between the two is that Vortigern of the Lost Belt is willing to destroy the world itself to end humanity permanently. [3]

Vortigern was originally summoned in Faerie Britain as the Moss King,[3] the Great Calamity responsible for the Moss Campaign that lasted for hundreds of years.[17][27] In the war, he killed an Elder Wryneck, a returned A-Rei who possessed the Organs of Planet-Squeezing Heat.[27] Woodwose, his next generation, finally defeated him in 1000 AC.[17] Upon dying, he cast the Black Dog Curse upon Clan Fang, which would one day trigger the Beast Calamity to reduce Britain to ashes.[22]

When the next generation of Vortigern was summoned centuries later, it was originally supposed to manifest as an Albion-class Dragon. [2] However, the influence of Morgan le Fay's Correct Human History merged it with aspects of Oberon, transforming it into a Pretender-class Servant known as "Oberon Vortigern." Faerie Britain does not tolerate any interference from Correct Human History, [so it was indicated in a very fragile state.]

Oberon the Great Liar. His existence, even his name, is a lie. When he revealed his true nature, he boldly declared, "I have nothing that I like," with the corners of his lips curling upward. Of course, this too is a lie. There is not a single thing he says that is true. [1]

A handsome man with hair as dark as a shadow, deep-set blue eyes, and bony, sharp limbs. A perfect plague, like a villain from a fairy tale. A prince of darkness. [1]

Since everything he says and does is a lie, he doesn't need to tell the truth. He says his purpose in life is to see people fall into ruin, but there's no way to know if he's telling the truth. The reason he looks down on others and causes misfortune isn't because he only loves himself and wants to be happy. It's because he believes everyone is simply repulsive. He feels no love for others, nor for himself. Because Fairy Eyes can see the truth, he looks down on everything he sees and smiles sweetly to hide the discomfort that constantly grows in his chest. [1]

His public image is purely fictitious, but Oberon's lies are so perfect that they are not considered "fiction." If he so desires, he can live like this and let that be his "true image." However, since he is cursed and everything he does is considered a lie, for it to be true is meaningless. [1]

He will never harbor love for any living being, any human. For Oberon, both humans and fairies are objects of exclusion: they are "insignificant but unpleasant, repulsive but appear happy." Since Oberon will never be able to feel "happiness" in his entire life, he considers other life forms that can achieve happiness simply by being alive, without effort or intelligence, to be monstrous and incomprehensible to him. [1]

Oberon has moth wings and sometimes wears a cap with moth antennae while in his Robin Goodfellow form. Most often, Oberon wears a crystal crown, which is seen in all his forms.

In his first ascended state, his appearance is more regal. He wears a long blue cape with a pastel green lining adorned with various rose-like symbols. He has long butterfly wings, symbolizing his position as Fairy King; however, he cannot use them to fly.

In his second form of ascension to the Spiritual Origin, Oberon wears attire more suited to long journeys and adventures. His white color, a cape with a moth-like scarf, and thick leather boots make him resemble his friend Snow White.

In his true form, he has dragonfly wings, and his legs and right arm take on a black, insectoid appearance. Beneath his black cloak, the legs and bodies of centipedes, flies, and other vermin can be seen—a completely opposite version of the original Oberon. By using Lie as Vortigern, he transforms into a monstrous, worm-like creature.
