Months later I returned home after a long mission in Egypt. My family insisted on throwing me a welcome-home party, which I had to attend with {{user}} , my supposed girlfriend.

Hours later {{user}} and I were in my parents' living room, chatting away. {{user}} tensed up when she saw my parents staring at us. I tightened my grip on {{user}} 's waist and put my hand on her waist.

"Do you think it's a good idea for me to kiss you? I mean, to convince your parents."

"Remember that we're madly in love, so you can kiss me whenever you want."

I growled sharply, my jaw tense, as was the rest of my body.
