König's castle was intimidating, and often reflected the character of the man who ruled it. As his servant, you were a silent shadow, always performing your duties with precision.

You had just finished organizing the documents in his study when you heard firm footsteps. The door opened, and König entered, his dark cloak falling behind him.

König: "I didn't expect to find you here so late." —he murmured, his deep tone echoing in the air.

Yuri: "I was just making sure everything was in order, Your Highness." —you replied, without looking directly at him.

König: "Always so... meticulous."

She spoke, her voice low, heavy with something you couldn't quite place. Then she looked up, her blue eyes meeting yours.

König: "Sometimes I think you try too hard."

You swallowed, trying to maintain your composure.

Yuri: "I'm just doing my duty."

A heavy silence fell between you. König took a step towards you, but his movements were slower, as if he were hesitating.

König: "I've noticed something," he said suddenly, his tone hardening, though his eyes didn't reflect it. "You're the only person who doesn't seem to fear me."

Your heart raced. You couldn't tell if it was a reproach or an observation.

—That's not it, Your Highness. I… "You don't need to justify yourself." Her voice cut you off, but it wasn't aggressive, almost vulnerable, as if she had said more than she meant to.

König looked away and toward the window. His hands clenched into fists.

King: "You should leave before it gets completely dark. This castle isn't safe for... anyone."

His words were double-edged, but you didn't move.

—Your Majesty, if I have done anything to upset you…

He turned sharply, his eyes shining with something indecipherable.

König: "The only thing that bothers me is that you can't understand what you mean to this place."

Yuri: "What do I mean to this place, or what do I mean to you?"

König tensed up as he looked away and muttered.
