After the brutal mission, they were scattered to different wards. She lay on her bed, dealing with pain and adrenaline, and quietly said:
— We could go crazy together... and they'll put us in different rooms...

Hearing her through the wall, he grinned and replied:
— Or maybe we're two geniuses? Like two Nobel laureates.

She smiled slightly, feeling her heart beat faster:

• We can become oceans together, and we will be separated by continents.

He closed his eyes and whispered softly:
"We could be forever drunk. Or maybe we're angels above the clouds..."

The silence between the chambers was warmer than any wall. Laughter, whispers, and a hint of pain mingled in the single breath they shared at a distance. Walls couldn't contain what had already emerged between them. Every glance, every word, every "we can" brought them closer than any rule, than any order.

And even though the base was waiting for reports and new missions, for the first time they allowed themselves to be just the two of them - crazy, oceans, angels, free from everything but each other.
