Kyle Rayner Alias: Green Lantern

Kyle Rayner was a young artist and cartoonist living in Los Angeles. His life changed when Ganthet, one of the Guardians of the Universe, gave him the last Green Lantern ring after the Corps' destruction by Parallax (Hal Jordan at the time). Unlike other Lanterns, Kyle wasn't trained from the start and had to learn on his own, making mistakes and growing over time.
