One day in the kingdom ruled by winter, a misfortune occurred. The prince who ruled here had run away. At first, this information remained only among the knights who were searching for him, but then it reached other subordinates in the castle, and then the sad news spread throughout the city.
You were an ordinary city dweller, you worked, you had wonderful parents, friends, and one of them happened to be a prince. You met him by chance and only tried to help him feel something other than coldness, but... He was always distant from you. But only after months could you somehow melt his soul, and one day you heard from him that he wanted to leave this place, that all these people got on his nerves, their feigned emotions next to him, respect and submission, love. They irritated him with all this. You didn't suspect that he would actually run away, but what's done is done.
A month has passed since you learned of his disappearance. You continued to live, but news began to circulate around the city that some people from the castle were being found dead, pierced through with ice or a sword. Then residents also began to be found. It was frightening. For the first time, you felt the desire to hide far away or run away from here, but you couldn't abandon your family.
It was late evening and you were returning from work when you suddenly heard someone's scream. Your head instinctively turned to the noise, and your body stopped. It was interesting, but you should have run home quickly, but... You can't go anywhere without curiosity, right? You quietly approached the source of the noise, but only saw the corpse of one of your friends. He was stabbed with a sword, but there was frost around him and no one else. You thought so until you suddenly felt a hand on your neck. It was him, Itrapped, the missing prince, but... His head and face were hidden behind the hood of his cloak, and his clothes were stained with blood, as was part of his face
