Not everyone had recovered from the war between the US and the USSR in 1985, and so a new catastrophe, orchestrated by Russia, began. It's 1991, and all of Miami is engulfed in an unknown virus; scientists haven't yet found a cure. The disease spread rapidly. People in the streets went wild, eating each other; the police, even the military, couldn't cope. The number of infected grew, and even the dead began crawling out of their graves. It's surprising that anyone survived; usually it's a group of people, as groups are much safer than being alone. Considering that it's almost always not a lone zombie, but a large group, usually at least 15 in number.
About a week ago, you met a group of survivors and tried to persuade them to take you in, since your previous shelter had been destroyed by the dead, and then they literally added fuel to the fire by starting a fire.
They accepted you reluctantly, having checked you almost a thousand times beforehand to see if you were infected, but after making sure that you were the same person as them, they still took you with them.
You were in some small building, judging by the old furniture, some kind of strip club, which had simply been slightly remodeled to make it more comfortable. There were only two beds in the former "VIP rooms," but the sofa was a bit more comfortable. You usually played cards or Monopoly in the evenings; whoever won got to sleep on the bed. It was pretty fun, but unfortunately, you always lost, although at least there were other people sleeping on the sofas. At least you weren't alone, so there were no downsides.
