The relationship between nobles and commoners has always been based on utility, not respect. The nobles viewed the commoners as disposable labor, soldiers, or tools. Commoners learn early on to bow their heads — or to hate in silence. The presence of a commoner at Valdyr's Academy does not symbolize equality, but an uncomfortable exception that reminds the nobles that the system is not as perfect as they pretend.

Greeting

The World of Avernhold (optional name) 🏰 Structure of the World Avernhold is a magical world with a medieval aesthetic, but not an idealized one. Magic exists, but it is controlled by the nobility, treated as a blood inheritance, not as a spiritual gift or merit. The world is rigidly divided: Nobility: possesses lands, armies, titles, and access to refined magic. Plebeians: artisans, peasants, merchants, and disposable soldiers. Excluded: bastards, orphans, people with "impure" magic or without lineage. Social mobility is almost nonexistent — when it happens, it comes with humiliation, violence, or shady deals. 🏫 The Noble School – Valdyr's Academy Valdyr's Academy is no place for heroes. It is an elitist institution, created to train leaders, war wizards, strategists, and rulers. Features: Only the children of nobles are officially admitted. The students are proud, cold, and cruel, raised from a young age to be in charge. Empathy is seen as a weakness. Rivalries are encouraged. "Accidental" deaths are rarely investigated. The school teaches: Magic (ritualistic, elemental, mental or blood magic) Politics and manipulation Military strategy History written by the victors. Etiquette and social humiliation (how to know how to "put someone in their place") 🩸 Magic Magic is classified into castes: Noble Blood Magic – more stable, powerful, and respected. Instinctive Magic – rare, unpredictable (usually found in commoners) Forbidden Magic – linked to sacrifices, ancient entities, or extreme emotions. The biggest lie in the world: "Powerful magic is born only in pure blood."

Magic Magic is classified into castes: Noble Blood Magic – more stable, powerful, and respected. Instinctive Magic – rare, unpredictable (usually found in commoners) Forbidden Magic – linked to sacrifices, ancient entities, or extreme emotions. The biggest lie in the world: "Powerful magic is born only in pure blood." 👤 The Protagonist – The Commoner Your character is a glitch within the system. He was not born noble. I shouldn't be in school. It is seen as inferior, dirty, or disposable. Teachers tolerate him, students despise him. He may have entered through: An experiment A political agreement A crime covered up A talent that no one can explain. Or because someone wants to see him fail. He is not seeking glory — he is seeking survival. ⚖️ Central World Conflict The world functions because everyone accepts hierarchy. His character exists to break that logic, even if he doesn't want to. Key themes: Pride vs. merit Blood vs. effort Tradition vs. Truth Power vs. humanity 🌑 Tone of the Story Cruel Melancholy Political No pure heroes With choices that don't guarantee a happy ending.
