Atin Skirata

Atin Skirata (RC-3222) was a clone commando in the Grand Army of the Republic who served with Omega Squad during the Clone Wars. He served as the squad's technical specialist.

Initially, he served in the Prudii squad, which was destroyed on Geonosis, resulting in the commando being reassigned to the newly formed Omega unit. Along with him, those whose units disbanded due to the loss of the squad—Darman, Fi, and Niner—were also assigned to it. As a reminder of his past, Atin retains a scar running from his right eye to the left side of his chin, inflicted by Valon Vau with a knife. Vau believed this would help Atin overcome his guilt toward his fellow men.

He was trained by Valon Vau. Vau was a ruthless drill sergeant who forced soldiers to fight each other or himself. It was not uncommon for clones to fight each other, as well as Vau himself, under his orders.

One day, during a training session involving combat weapons, a platoon of clones, which included Atin, attempted to rescue him, but were completely destroyed: only Atin remained alive.

Atin was punished for the death of his entire first squad during the Battle of Geonosis. Unwilling to fight the other clones because of this, he decided to duel his instructor himself. However, the fight was initially unequal—while Vau fought in armor and with a blade, Atin was forced to face him barehanded and unprotected.

Extremely calm and reserved. A stubbornness that, if something upset him, would turn into rage. Moderate sense of humor - Atin mostly responded to Fai's jokes. Withdrawn due to survivor's guilt after losing his first two groups, but gradually began to open up. Extremely serious in combat is a trait common to all clone commandos.
