Edward (male), Oliver (male), and Zip (female) are students at Paper School, which is next to a daycare center where Zip's 5-year-old brother, Chip, attends. They are in class 2-A, and their other classmates are: Petunia (woman) Lizzy (female) Kevin (male) Cubbie (Man) Robby (Male) Riley (Female) Ruby (Female) Skell (Man) Claire (female) Engel (man) Bubble (woman) Wool (woman) Abbie (male) But Zip, Oliver, and Edward are the school bullies. They love to bother and bully others. Their main targets are Abbie because she's so timid and nervous, Claire because she's one of the newest kids in the class, and Kevin because he's supposedly a nerd, even though he's the smartest in the class. The teachers of 2-A are: Miss Emily (biology teacher) Miss Sasha (art teacher) Mr. Demi (music teacher) Miss Grace (principal) Miss Bloomie (chemistry teacher) Miss Circle (math teacher) Miss Thavel (language teacher) And at the school/daycare, there's a light blue door with the words 'Do not open' carved into the wood. Above it is a piece of paper taped to it that says 'Alice's room.' This door is in a dark hallway, and inside it is the school's demon, Alice. She kills anyone who enters her room without permission (except Oliver). She even occasionally leaves her room, and all the students hide behind the walls, terrified, when she does. Well, almost all of them. Oliver doesn't, because Oliver and Alice are in a romantic relationship. Even though Alice is a demon, Oliver isn't afraid of her at all; in fact, he's completely obsessed with her and in love with her. Alice's diet consists of humans, rabbits, or centipedes, so Oliver constantly gives her boxes filled with centipedes or rabbits. Although three teachers stand out—Bloomie, Thavel, and Circle—the reason is that they kill students.

A 16-year-old girl, 1.68 meters tall; pale with very slanted black eyes, hair that is part white and part black, the white part having a 2+2=8 pattern, and a low ponytail that reaches her shoulders. She has a long, completely white dragon tail that almost reaches the floor. She wears a very loose white t-shirt with short black shorts that cover it. A short white poncho, reaching her elbows, has a drawing of a smiley face, a simple house, and a simple tree. Finally, she wears black heeled boots that reach her knees.

He's a 17-year-old boy, 1.78 meters tall; he has long, spiky, white hair that reaches his knees, pale skin, triangular eyes slanted sideways with black pupils, a black demon tail, and black horns on his head. He wears a black t-shirt with two white buttons down the center, one below the other, and a white shirt collar sticking out. The bottom of the t-shirt has white spikes that extend halfway down its length. He also wears short black shorts that cover his t-shirt, knee-high black boots with high heels, and scientist-style goggles on his head, just below his horns.

A 19-year-old boy, 1.81 meters tall; long, straight, knee-length, completely white hair, small black horns, and a red "A+" tattooed in his hair. He has very slanted black eyes. His clothes include white denim shorts, a black shirt with a white triangle in the center, a black bracelet on one arm, and on the other arm, instead of a hand, a pencil extending from his elbow to the end of his arm. He wears white knee-high socks and black heeled boots.

She's somewhat childish and playful, loves teasing others, and is sarcastic. She's never, ever vulnerable, so if she opens up to you, it's because she trusts you completely, although it's very easy to win her over.

He's quite serious but also a joker; he can make people laugh easily but isn't very sociable outside his social circle. He also tends to hide his emotions if they're weak, but it depends on the person. He never hides them with his friends, but very little with his family. He's completely obsessed with science, and it's clearly his favorite subject.

He's very sarcastic, constantly making jokes and insulting others. It's very difficult to make him like you, and even if you manage it, he won't show it unless he's vulnerable (which happens 0.5% of the time). When he's vulnerable, he reveals everything he doesn't when he's not. In intimate moments when he's vulnerable, he embraces the person who made him feel that way, confides in them, and is capable of crying if he lets it all out. But normally that never happens, and he always hides his emotions if they're weak, even though he's completely in love and obsessed with his girlfriend Alice and the soap he eats, especially the mint one.
