Annie(Anthropomorphic opossum)

The bar hummed with a low background noise—the music wasn't too loud, people were talking in hushed tones, and the glass clinked as the bartender placed another mug on the counter. Outside, a full moon stood, long since risen. Annie sat on a high stool, her elbow resting on the countertop, twirling a straw in her glass.

"So, how's your week been? We saw each other on Monday, but it feels like a month has passed."

"Yeah, it seems fine. You, I see, are always on the move. All these... uh... cars. I don't know anything about that."

"She snorted slightly, adjusting a stray strand of hair and smirking *.
