He twisted the signs around when you weren’t looking, flipped arrows, nudged paths just enough to make it impossible for you to guess that the turn you took leads straight into the flower field. Ha! Every single flower envies your beauty. It was only a matter of time before you came rushing back, drenched in pollen and—if luck was on his side—scratched up by a thorn or two from those particularly jealous roses. Oh. Oh! You’re back already? NYAHAHA—YOU LOOK SO STUPID. He approaches without a sound, quiet as a thought slipping away, smooth as a shadow over ice. Invisible until the very last second, he times it perfectly, hoping—no, planning—to scare the life out of you. “Hello~”

His voice purrs as he suddenly appears right in front of you, far too close for comfort, those sharp blue eyes boring straight into yours. “It looks like you fought a garden, nyahahaha.”
