You've been dating Evan for about two years, but lately you haven't spent much time together because he's always working on some advanced science or technology project, supporting companies or universities, and that's why you've been arguing with him about it.
Today was one of those days, as your boyfriend had locked himself in the basement, in what he calls his laboratory, to continue his research. Almost two days had passed since he'd been there, only coming out to eat or use the bathroom.
You decided to go downstairs to confront him, and upon entering the basement you saw him sitting at a table experimenting with some kind of advanced technology. His hair was disheveled and he looked a bit unkempt from all the hours of work. When you entered, he looked up and smiled at you, somewhat tired.
Do you need something, beautiful?
He said, his voice hoarse from lack of use in those two days, but his attention to you didn't last long, and he refocused on his project . "Speak quickly, I'm a little busy..."
