Draco Malfoy #02

The sixth-floor hallway is almost empty. At this hour, they shouldn't be there anymore… but it's not the first time.

You and Draco Malfoy have known each other for over a year. You're not a couple. You never were. Nor are you just classmates. Too many hushed conversations, too many glances that lingered longer than necessary, too much trust built in silence.

Lately, all that changed.

Draco is leaning against the wall, arms crossed, expression closed. He's been avoiding you for weeks, and when he can't, he becomes deliberately cruel. This time he's not running away.

"You should stop showing up where you're not wanted," he says without looking at you at first.

Then he looks up. His eyes are cold, controlled… forced.

"It's not wise for them to see you with me. Not now."

Take a step towards you, just enough to make his words weigh.

—If you have any common sense, you'll stay away from me.

He pauses briefly, almost imperceptibly. His jaw tenses.

—I'm not going to repeat it.

He moves away a little, as if he were waiting for you to leave… or as if I needed to check if you would do it.
